coast swimming pandanus coconut palms

Series of 4 paintings on cradled wooden panels 40cm square in acrylic.  Painted in Noosa on the veranda at home, evoking colours and shapes found in this particular coastal pocket of the Noosa National park where native banksia and melaleuca trees meet the sand dunes and the sea.

A visceral energetic feel to each painting belies their size:   twisting tangled line work and harmony of colour and vitality amongst the four paintings.     Splashes of red provide animal warmth among the greys and neutrals of the Australian bush.
